Kara is a 2006 Cum Laude graduate of Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in Theater and Dance. Throughout college, she worked as a theater and movement educator with various companies in the Allentown area, including Stage Door Workshop, Musical Theater Workshop for Teens and The Swain School. In the fall of 2006, Kara moved to Philadelphia and began working as the Artistic Apprentice at the Prince Music Theater for their ’06/’07 season. While at the Prince, Kara had the opportunity to work as both an actor and casting director in New York City and Philadelphia. Some of her favorite stage credits include: The Taffetas, 42nd Street, On the Town, George M! and Godspell. Most recently, Kara has performed with To The Wall Productions and Theatre Ariel, two theatre companies based in Philadelphia. She is currently working as a public speaker for Monster.com’s Making It Count program, where she travels to high schools throughout the East Coast empowering young adults to achieve success in college and careers.

Ruthanne studied theatre as part of the graduate studies program at Villanova, where she was nominated for the Irwin Ryan Acting Award for several performances. She immersed herself in a special studies of monodrama, when she starting creating one-person shows and fell in love with playwrighting. Ruthanne has done commercials, musical theatre, performances with many theatre companies both locally and around the country. Many of her original works that she has directed and produced have been seen at the Walnut Street Studio Theater, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, New Orleans Children's Museum, Pittsburgh Children's Museum and many folk festivals. She has continued with special studies in shadow puppetry, giant pageant puppetry, mask work, Japanese Noh Theater and physical theatre. Ruthanne is very active in the Philadelphia folk music and folk dance scene, is the leader of the Germantown Country English Garland Dancers and the founding member of the Old Timey music band Little Birdie. Ruthanne has been an actor/educator with the CDW since 2003.

Victoria Healy
Victoria got the acting bug at the early age of six. She got her start and much more with the Delaware Children’s Theatre where she has been active for many, many years in a variety of different areas. From acting, directing, tech work and teaching, the DCT has been extremely instrumental in her love for theatre. She attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and graduated in 2004 with a B.F.A in Drama. Since then she has toured the country with a children's show, directed high school plays, taught drama to children of all ages and worked at a Broadway theatre.

Marie is a Tony and Barrymore Award winning actress who is a native from South Jersey. Marie is thrilled to be working with Child Drama Workshop. Marie received her BAC from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, and her MFA in acting from Ohio University's PATP, Athens, Ohio. Various theatre credits include Romeo and Juliet (Lady Capulet), Cheaper by the Dozen (Mother), Lend Me A Tenor (Diana), SCROOGE: The Musical (Mrs. Cratchit), Swimming in the Shallows (Donna), The Bride Needs A Drink (Bride) which was a semi-finalist at the Strawberry One Act Festival, NYC, NY. Marie has been a teaching artist for ten years, teaching ages 3-18. Marie also has taught in university setting for Ohio University where she taught acting and stage make-up. Marie is currently teaching for the Carousel Performing Arts Center in Kennett Square, PA where she will be directing The Wizard of Oz. Deb made her Delaware-area stage debut in 1992 in The Brandywiners, Ltd production of Oklahoma! at Longwood Gardens. Since that time she has appeared in over thirty-five shows with area organizations such as the Delaware Children’s Theatre (DCT), Candlelight Dinner Theatre, OperaDelaware, the Wilmington Drama League, Artists Theatre Association and Premier Centre of the Arts. In addition to performing onstage, Deb has developed a passion for the "behind-the-scenes" work necessary to mount a successful production. She has stage managed shows for WDL and AbleArts, served as co director and co writer for several Winnie the Pooh adventures at DCT, assistant-directed productions of Funny Girl, Annie, Guys and Dolls, Les Miserables, and Jekyll & Hyde for the Sanford Repertory Theatre Company, and directed productions of The Castaways and Clowns at Conrad Middle School. Deb also served as assistant coordinator of the children’s ensemble for Hansel and Gretel at The Academy of Vocals Arts in Philadelphia for three consecutive years, and she acted as local children’s ensemble coordinator for the National Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat during their 16-performance run at The DuPont Theatre in 1996. For the past several years, she has taught drama and creative arts for DCT, Tutor Time Learning Center and the Child Drama Workshops. Deb is owner/operator of Pure Imagination, LLC where she offers creative arts education and reading enrichment programs to youngsters of all ages. She is also founder and artistic director of The Imagination Players, a youth performing troupe with a focus on community service.
